I was on the hunt for this one for some time, especially after missing it on a bargain on a dutch website. However I came across it again on ebay after searching it's many names regulary, like Spiratone, Accura, Vemar or Panomar! I finally came across one by Panomar but sadly wasn't home on the evening the bidding would end. So I put down a max bid of around 150€, which I would expect it to end comapred to other auctions, and went off. Once I got home I got the message that I won the auction for 'just' 64,10€!!

So anyway, besides this being a nice wide fish-eye, it also just looks sexy, it got the curves so to speak Wink. It looks like just like a fish-eye as you would expect one to look! Included are some shots off the lens in full nudity *cough*. Also a quick test shot taken right in the sun, which renders quite nicely!

Deservedly. Assuming that it is the same as the Sigma 12mm f/8, that must have been the first fish-eye I bought, thanks to a tight budget back then, and it was one of the worst lenses I ever bought new, barely better than these cheesy fish-eye add-on lenses. It was little more than 100DM, used but mint, in the early eighties - so it seems to keep its value more than most Nikon or Leica lenses of that generation... Shocked
