Hi,

here some winter shots with this lens.
1DsMkIII, ISO 50

At wintertime we have thousands of Siberian geese here at our local river

I envy you folks who get along with a 200mm... you obviously do so I envy you Smile

I think that biergarten sign's way cool.

Hello Rolf.

It's quite a slow lens, isn't it ?

Your pics are quite dark.
Was it the light ? I don't think because you won't have shot with the 1DsMkIII at Iso 50.

About Maisel's Weisse aus Bayreuth, is this a special white beer ? Wink

Cheers.

Hi Olivier,

it was very dark today. This was the actual light. The sky was full of snow.

It is a Weizenbier - like Paulaner, Franziskaner, Schöfferhofer etc.

Thanks for the precision.

with this weather, is it better to buy you a Weizenbier, a hot wine or a hot chocolate ? Smile

I think it's great and yes somehow underexposed. Mike

Nice photos with nice lens. Look what the Takumar does with those little bits of color!

Exposure is perfect (iso is 200). Tone curves need adjusting otherwise too dark on my standard notebook lcd monitor.

Not so fast but lens is sharp wide open and small and light; goes hiking with me where faster 200 is too heavy, for that reach when carrying only primes. Handholding on crop-cam would be a challenge...

I agree, excellent little tele lens, fits nicely in a jacket pocket.

Very nice pics. All of them. The atmosphere is there, like thru the window.

I like the takumar 5,6/200. But it seems to me that the photographer is better. Wink

Rino.
