pentax sp1000, fuji superia 400, variety of settings, and i blew some exposures so comparison is limited, and was off a bit on others. oh well. the shots with the 50/55's were in good sunlight, the shots with the vivitar were on a cloudy, misty day.

helios 44-2:

vivitar (tokina) 2.8/35

pentacon 1.8/50:

super takumar 2/55:

HI again.

I use only film too. The DSRL that I like is very expensive for me now. I will wait.

I see in the helios pics, that they seem to be generously expose (perhaps not good laboratory job), and with the little overexpose became the flare. When there is some light, expose for the shadows is dangerous.

Excelents vivitar 35 pics. The moto one is fantastic.

Both of us use film cameras, did you try slide film? I found it better

Rino.

i used to shoot a lot of slide film. not any more. try to stick with c-41 stuff as i do not do my own processing.

these were from single roll, so any issues were all my fault. i think the helios shots were a stop over-exposed. one of the takumar ones, maybe ...
