This isn't the greatest find in the world, but I was surprised to stumble across an auction that was not listed in the best category, had words run together and letters dyslexically (is that a word?) transposed in a description that combined three cameras and three lenses. I won the following for $56 (shipping included):

Chinon CM-5 (K mount)
Tokina RMC 75-260mm f4.5 (K mount)
Pentax SMC 55mm f1.8 (K mount)
Canon FD 50mm f1.4 (not even in the description and non-identifiable picture)
Kodak Retinette 1b (with case) looks like a late model
Argus C3 (the brick)

I was mainly interested in the SMC 55mm f1.8 which I'd like to compare with my Sears/Tomioka 55mm f1.4 and the Super Takumar f2.

The Tokina is a beast of a lens, but this thread has me excited about trying it out:

I've seen a "Roll E Flex" listed in antiques Laughing
You have a good haul there, some interesting bits.

Good deal!

And I know what you mean. I have made purchases at auction (not just photography related, other items too) where the listing had a misspelling so that anyone doing a quick search would not have found it. I'm sure that's why I ended up getting such a bargain.

Enjoy your 'new' lenses! Smile

+1 -- I've done the same thing. I've also picked up items for great prices that were mis-categorized. Like the Tamron 24/2.5 I picked up a couple months back was listed in some obscure antique camera category. I was the only one who bidded on it.
