What is the best version ?, is better MC version ?

I read somewhere on the forum that f4 has very minimal distortion. I don't know if that holds for f2.8 as well.

Heard similiar review. Flek f4 have better in meaning less geometric distortion.

I've heard that the 20/4 has almost no distortion and the test images I've seen seem to prove that (at least for normal distances).

The 20/2.8 is also strong regarding lack of distortions (at normal distances), but not quite as perfect as thr 20/4. I don't think any lens at this focal length is Wink

However, 20/2.8 easily outresolves the older lens, has more contrast, is small and so on. The only reason why, in my opinion, anyone might prefer the 20/4 (vis-a-vis taking photos) is if one uses film and shoots architecture, does not do digital post processsing and absolutely demands as perfectly straight lines as it is possible to get from a lens.
