Hi

Does anyone know what fitting this lens would be? Would it be the same as Leica M or R series? Just wondering if a can get a adapter for my GF1

Thanks

It's most likely that this is not a 40mm f/2 but a 45mm f/2. This is one of the standard lenses with which the Minolta XG1 was sold. It has a Minolta MD mount (or more precisely an SR mount with MD aperture connections). It is a nice flat lens, or pancake. Many people like it, search this forum for examples. You can use this lens with a GF1 with a Minolta MD (SR) to m43 adapter.

You're right, it was a 45mm lens! How annoying as he stated 40mm. I could have got the lens and camera for £65 and the lens (40mm version) goes for about £300 on ebay!

Hey ho!
