Fooling around in the nearby woods and fields with the CV90. The
weather has not been cooperative, but I just HAD to put SOMETHING
on the board to show some of the good things about the lens.

As always, these aren't beauty shots, they are just random snap. However,
even on our monitors, there is a showing of nice output and clear/sharp
images, corner to corner. Shocked

Focus was on the pink-toned mossy area in the middle. The corners show
fine clarity here. However, this was not a very easy scan, and it shows.
The scanner is obviously not up to extracting all it should out of the slide
in this busy image. Hand held.

A moonlight night shot of foam rings around sandpool rock. The rock is
too complicated to show an example of the clarity that is capable, but
the sand granules are showing fine detail in the individual grains of
sand. Camera on a rock for steadying the movement.

Hand held, and possibly a bit of blur. However, the colors are spot-on
for this wet, steep ladder on the trail over the bluff, with a steady rain.
In fact, the only reason for posting was because I was amazed at the
way the 90 renders colors so close to "real life".

Placed on a tripod for defeating the camera shake of the previous three
shots. The 3D rendering here is quite evident, and makes the elements
show good delineation of spaces. I really like this aspect of the CV90,
as it seems to acquire 3-D intefaces in quite a number of images.
No sharpening tools used. I considered a CPL filter, but in the end I
liked the bit of shine to the leaves.
The bokeh has been downplayed by various opinions, but I think it is
not bad at all.
