2 quick shots of my little week old daughter Sophia Louise, taken with the Jupiter 9,


And now I have to go and help to bath the baby Very Happy

She has beautiful blue eyes (from mammy or daddy ?).

Did you use a flash in the second shot?
They say that this wouldn't harm newborns, but I never did that. I was too afraid that the harsh light could harm my kid's eyes. Just something to think about...

Wasn't that about old flash bulbs, electronic flash at 1/1000 or 1/2000 sec should be no danger.....erm well I'm not an optometrist.

Take as many as possible as they grow fast...you will not be disappointed looking back!
Beautiful....still have the newborn baby smell??

Thanks for the kind comments all it means a lot to me Very Happy The blue eyes come from her mummy, I am a celtic looking brown eyed troglodyte, alas. Still got the baby smell, and thanks for the advice Carsten- I noticed in the hospital other babies really didn't like flashes going off, so this was the first time I used flash, and she seemed happy enough- still I don't use flash much anyway so will probably avoid using it for a while longer. Well true and congrats......but my grandchildren have given me new enjoyment in photography, and I never had a girl so am facinated what my grand daughter does, like this with lipstick:-
