Hi,

due to the bad weather at the moment here another AF shot (sorry) as a kind of diversion

This is Herdubreid, the national mountain and (dormant ?) volcano on Iceland.

wow! with a 300mm, more secure for volcanoes
let me guess, you were in a plane and this rock was flying too fast for manual focus

Yes, one of the fastest mountains there. Laughing Laughing Laughing

Especially you stand on the top. One wrong step and unbelievable fast

a) your body will arrive the foot of this mountain and at the same time
b) your pneuma will knock at Saint Peters door (hopefully)

I often ask myself what to do in such a case.
During the fall should I take the film or memory card out of the camera or is it safer to leave it inside? Will someone find it later on? Wink

If you have digital cam with you I would do a backup during that.

Great picture. The blue/brown - far/near contrast is wonderful. A picture to et lost in.
