York - Christmas fayre with the Carl Zeiss Planar 1.4/50

Oh my, this lens is quite something Some more original shots coming in a second set, but I really struggled to take this off the camera, a stunning lens All shots at f2.8, where the bokeh is still incredible.

The venue - York St Nicholas Christmas Fayre, a lovely market but it was blooming freezing! This was soon sorted with a hot chocolate and brandy (last shot)

Thanks guys! I really enjoy using this lens and it's finally displaced my Pentacon 50/1.8 as my standard lens I picked it up for £59.99 from Ffordes, as it was well used (some marks to the focusing barrel). Like I give a damn! It's a cracker

Nice pictures -- they really reflect the atmosphere ..

I think that the 30D + Zeiss lenses is quite unbeatable combo!

EOS 30D is one of the best digital cameras in my view
