Local laboratory scan was a crap , I tried to scan on my cheap desktop scanner result was more crap. Any idea how can I get good result for acceptable price ?

Thanks! Can you publish the best scanned pictures here ? I ask other guys too I would like to know should I try to shoot on film or not. I use 99% on computer my pics, so quality scanning is very important to me.
