That lady-bug in pic five is so huge. True macro is really fascinating nearly scientific discipline.

Seems you have good weather there in NL ...

Great shots and hard to pick a favourite, ... I think it's the last Lieverheersbeestje ... which is creeping towards your lens. The oof-transition in both directions works perfect there ...

Cheers
Tobias

Thanks, both of you!

The weather was indeed good Yesterday, but today it's definitely different. I don't see any volcanic ashes yet Smile

Shocked So that is what real macro photography looks like...looks like you were nearly sitting on these bugs.
Will you get a red sunset with the volcanic ash when it gets to you?

I wish the bugs around here were as co-operative, they usually bugger off before I can take a pic, nice shots there Peter.

Thanks!

But are you joking? That's not CA, it's the colors of the wings. You see that it comes in stripes, that's also the case in the OOF regions. Otherwise the CA would have been the same color all over and that's not the case here. Smile

If you don't know the difference between CA and iridescent colors Poilu, then I guess you failed the mflenses test
and we are very sorry, but we have to kick you out here immediately Very Happy Very Happy

Peter, I'm VERY HAPPY that I talked you into the Apo Lanthar (at least I guess I was a little bit guilty....) Wink Wink
