Hello,

just purchased a Solligor 135mm f/2 M42. I can't wait to hold it in my hands Very Happy

What's your opinion about this lens? I found only few samples,

Well, the example photos certainly look very nice.

I wonder how similar it is to the more common 135mm f/1.8, which was sold under the Soligor label as well as several other aftermarket lens brand names. It looks very similar, at least.

Here are some representative shots taken with one of the 135/1.8s, including photos of some of the lenses, one of which is a Soligor.

I remember when this lens sold for not much more than $100 at camera fairs and the like. Nowadays, when they show up on eBay, they can go for over $400 easily.

I studied Japanese in college, but it would take me quite a while to translate that page -- it's been too long. Maybe Koji will jump in here and help out.
