Astonishing that you could control vibration with that
contraption at that magnification!! Great result!
(don't try that with yout MTO lenses.... Very Happy )

Funny enough I tried something similar too once. I needed to be far away from a very shy animal, but wanted to have a high magnification. I ended up using a catoptic system of 800mm focal length and still had about 3x magnification (this is called "Long Working Distance Microscopy") - so not really a joke.

Rough estimation: 2 x focal length gives 1x. so since his Sonnar has 135mm he would end up at 2-3x depending how long the built in helicoid is. SO what we see must be crops, since that high magnification as shown won't be possible filling full format.
