How much and what is this glass worth?Currently I have a Pentacon 4 / 200, and I wonder whether it was worth it just to replace Soligor..Is there anyone have any samples taken with Soligor?

I had in past it was stolen with my gears, I think if you need one stop faster lens you should replace it. Lens is more less Pentacon level.

No. It can also be 180mm.

Any Carl Zeiss Jena Sonnar 180mm + P6-Nikon adapter if lens a bit abused can go cheaply. Old Nikkor 180mm f2.8 P Non-AI or AI converted.

Vivitar Series 1 200/3 is probably better, although I haven't tried one myself. CZJ Sonnar 200/2.8 is great but huge and heavy.

If you're OK with 'just' 180mm, than Nikkor 180/2.8 (Ai or pre-Ai designations can be had inexpensively). Nikkor*ED 180/2.8 (Ai-S) is probably the best of the bunch, but can cost more. 1st generation Leitz Elmarit-R 180/2.8 is big, heavy, but quite nice for the money; 2nd generation of this lens is much smaller but more expensive. Contax Zeiss Sonnar 180/2.8 is also great, but quite expensive.

If you're on a budget, I would go for an Ai Nikkor 180/2.8 (it's a Sonnar design, very nice rendering overall; the ED is sharper, but not by much). If you want the best, Contax 180/2.8 or Nikkor*ED 180/2.8 would fit the bill.

I picked up a very cheap Super Tak 200mm F4. Impressive colours, contrast and lack of CA. Highly recommended.
