I am interrested in old Tamron SP
I own the 54B ans 55B
I would like to get a 60B (or equivalent) and a 51A...

Today i am wondering what are the real performances of a 200-500 f5.6 31A ?

Did someone already use one ?

I have and use time to time the 06A , which is the older version and is a f/6,9/200-500 lens. It gives at f/11 better pictures than my mirror lenses (Mto 8,5/550, 3M5ca 8/500, Rony 8/500 , Listar 8/500) but is very uncomfortable to use hand held ... (weight and dimensions) ....

I would love to own a 31A. They are not very common and usually command a fairly high price when they appear on eBay. The folks at Adaptall-2.com think highly of it, and so do others whose reviews I've read. Much better than the old f/6.9 optic.
