Click here to see on Ebay

I seriously doubt this. If it´s already a P-C, then the serial no. makes no sense at all. But what is it?

Happy guessing. I haven´t got a clue Shocked

Well, the seller very clears states "This lens has been modified to a universal M42 mount..." - pretty obvious, is it not? Wink

And that also doesn't look like Nikon craftsmanship...

At first look, I was thinking "Leica Screw Mount" when I saw that lens. Most likely not even originally designed for Nikon Rangefinder.

As for the adaptation to M42, it sure looks to me as if an adapter has been fitted to the lens, and that it could probably just be unscrewed to reveal the original Leica threads.

Nonetheless, it would most definitely be an interesting lens to try out, now, wouldn't it? But at that pice, I think I can wait a while . . . a very long while.

it's conversion does not look too bad, however the price ????

At this price ... the conversion service is rated at $400 - 500, which is way too much (in my humble opinion).

This looks like a Nikon-S rangefinder lens, the 10.5cm f/2.5. The same optical design was used in the first (5 elements 3 groups "sonnar-style") F-mount version of this lens.

Now things make sense. The lens didn´t fit any Nikkor-scheme I knew, but if it was a rangefinder lens, alright. I don´t know these very well, my fishing grounds are the 60s and 70s Nikon F-mount lenses.

Greetings
