The lens is in a good condition, lenses are a little bit dusty at the corners but this does not affect images.
On the rear lens there are some tiny spots on the coating but only visibly under certain light reflections.
No fungus, no haze. Unfortunately the painting has gone off by use on some parts.
The aperture is only manual, the pin is set in but can be set free for use at M42 cameras again. Aperture blades are clean, before I fixed the pin they were closing fast like new.
The Steinheil Auto-D-Quinon 1.9/55 offers exceptional image quality for a lens built in 1962. The close focus distance is outstanding 35 cm!
The Steinheil needs a EOS adapter without flange, it would not fit into a flanged adapter.
Original rear lens cap (Steinheil) and front cap are included.
