Hi,

this morning I shot few samples with this combo. Due to the technology only wide open.

First image G1 & Sigma 1.4/50mm DG HSM which will be due to the crop a 1.4/100mm

Next one with Canon Fisheye 2.8/15mm which will be then a 30mm wide angle

Wink

Hello Rolf.

Nice weather and pics.

I realized that the head statue is the one on the bank !
Very good for close focus, isn't it ?

One thing which irritates me a bit is statements like that Smile

It is still a 50/1.4 lens, as I am sure you know. It has the same angle of view a 100mm lens would have on a full frame camera, but way more DOF than that 100/1.4 would have on a 35mm camera. So in my arrogant ( Smile ) opinion calling it 100/1.4 is a improper.

First image G1 & Sigma 1.4/50mm DG HSM which will have due to the crop factor x 2 an angle view like a 1.4/100mm based on a 35mm Full Frame cam (but with different DOF).

OK ? Sorry that I have shortened this sentence in my first version Wink
