HI from spain...

I have the opportunity to get an Olympus E1 to a very cheap price .. I wondered what their behavior with manual lenses.

I think it has a viewfinder is quite good and ergonomic ... Forum someone is using it?

appreciate your opinions in advance.

thanks.

I have it, this is only DSLR what I have all samples taken by me made with this camera. You need to adjust same factory settings, like sharpness in camera menu. Factory settings is pretty soft to my taste, very nice camera.

thanks attila..

then I have to increase the sharpness in the menu on the side, also the contrast?

and what about the Viewer.. is bright ?

i've Olympus E-3 (increible camera) but I need something smaller and discreet.
i've several rokkor and zuiko lenses, I hope to give good results in the e1.

thanks.

Yes, you can do in menu. Viewer is pretty bright, better than other ones, like E-500 or E-330. I did never try E-3.

Zuikos and Rokkors perfect much for E-1, I did try many of them Zuiko was always excellent any lenses. Rokkors wasn't same stable excellent quality. I kept only one Minolta what I love it really PF 100mm f2.
