More on sale: one of my most interesting 135ers, a old preset Steinheil München Quinar 2.8/135 in M42 - built like a tank and with a bokeh that is outstanding. Close up distance: incredible 1 meter.

Only disadvantage: lenses are a bit yellowish, maybe this can be cured by heavy UV ray.

I offer this rare lens for 140 EUR. If you like, I add a Heliopan step up ring 51 to 52 mm (this enables you to fix common lens hoods or filters!) for only 10 EUR.

Outstanding lens I can confirm! One of the best 135m lens what I ever have.

Forgot: I can add a chipped adapter (M42 - EOS, Exif 135 mm) for 20 EUR!

I agree; this is a superb lens, one of the best 135mm's. The only problem is that it's really big for a 135mm f/2.8 (it has tripod threads, WTF =), but the benefit is indeed the 1 m close focusing distance. But if I didn't already have one, I'd buy it instantly for this price.

Guys, don't miss this jewel, at that price it is a real steal ...

If in doubt, look at what this lens is capable of:

Click on the picture, select the full res pic on Flickr, then take a look at the reflections in the peacock eye, and note that the picture is straight from the raw file ...

And no, i'm not doing businesses with mflex-on ...

Cheers

Really nice image and I love the bokeh. Sad to say I cannot afford this lens at this moment. Embarassed Someone quickly grab this.

For reassurance: I only offer the lens @ mflenses until further notice.

The longer it takes to sell the more I tend to keep the Quinar ... it’s so nice with the Contax.

A black pre-set Quinar? Interesting; mine's silver, the black ones I've seen previously haven't been pre-set ones.

Yes, I did not see this version anytime before - and after. Built 1962.

Is there a way to determine the build year by serial number?

Yes, there is a list in the "Kadlubek old lens prize catalogue"
