Zeiss 50's - Pancolar 1.8 vs Planar 1.7?

Out of the two cheaper Zeiss 50's, is there a clear winner between the Contax Planar 1.7 and the Pancolar 50mm 1.8? What's the difference and why would somebody pick one over the other. As a follow up to my other thread, I am still looking for a good 50!

There was a thread on this issue pointing to a webpage on a head-to-head comparison test between these two lenses. The differences between them are so small as to be negligible, but I think any significant difference would be due to individual sample variation, especially when you cannot make sure what the previous owners did to them!
