My adapter finally came, and I have adjusted the focus confirm on the programmable chip. I had the day off today so popped out to the forest to catch some more of the autumn colours...

Trifox, thanks so much for the lovely comments Smile The 3D effect is well pronounced in number 2, but I didn't really notice until I got home. The Distagon 28/2.8 is superb IMO, I pointed it directly at bright light without a hood and it coped very well, producing very contrasty pictures.

I still have a number of Yashica lenses to test as well, which I've been collecting on the cheap:

ML 50/1.7
DSB 50/2
ML 28/2.8
DSB 28/2.8
ML 35/2.8
MC 35-70/3.5-4.5

But I really want a Distagon 35/2.8 as well now Laughing

BTW, it's your fault I took this route, your shots from earlier in the year in Winchester got me on the case Cool

It got ya!! Smile You must live with this fact ! There is not any chance. Zeiss will be your lover..

The Distagon 2.8/28 was MY FIRST ZEISS in my life! It's a stunner when considering price/performance...

It won't let you down ..

enjoy!..

For a newcomer I despair thinking how good you are going to be when you have had a while with some great lenses. One of the delights is watching as people on this forum develop
