New income today with 4 lenses - two of them Hexanons
Looks like never used. Only a little bit dust on the cam.

Have read that the 1.8/40 was one of the sharpest lens. Need some new batteries for the cam and then I will see.

Well respected lens, actually I use this camera as main 35mm SLR just lovely, it has deadly accurate light meter. I hope you will take Konica adapter too for your G1 they are amazing lenses.

You sent me the link few days ago but didn´t ordered the adapter right now. Seems to be only 1 seller for these kind of adapters at the moment. Konicas are not very popular.

A good chance to buy some lenses before the prices rise up.

Got with the cam and the Hexanons 2 Tokinas zoom lenses.

3.5-4.5/35-135 RMC and 4/80-200 RMC. I guess that is standard quality ?

Yes, nothing special.

Good catch, Rolf! The two Hexanons are keepers. I've always wanted
the FC-1, but if the meter goes out, it can't be repaired (unless you find
another meter to replace it) and then the camera is a paperweight. I
opted for the T4 that doesn't need the meter/battery to operate.

Good luck and hope to see some pics! Smile

Thank you.

Added today 4 additional lenses to my little Hexanon collection Wink

Shocked I understand, that´s the reason why it was the most expensive of this 4 lenses (32,00 € Wink)

I also recommend the UC Hexanon 80-200, it is the best zoom I own.

Which 28 mm do you have?

Color reflections? Very good and strong contrast.

Ambar reflections? The best of both.

Attila is right. Buy all the hexanons that you can. Don't lost the 1,8/85 (near leica level).

The 75/150 zoom is very good too. Not in the net commentaries, but I had it and it's sharp.

Good luck. Rino.

Hi Rino,

won the auctions yesterday or the day before. Still waiting for the shipment. Will give short notice and few image samples when they will arrive. I read your post unfortunately too late. Yesterday I let pass an auction with the zoom 75/150. I own so much zooms in this range up to 210mm that I could open a shop. Anyway thanks for your info even for the 85mm. I will have a look on it. Wink

erm It might not be a serious problem as nothing shows in my viewfinder for my similar FT-1 (bought it cheap for repair), but the camera still takes accurate exposed shots.

The FT-1 is an improvement over the FS-1, has a better meter. All the
F series have electronically controlled shutters that require batteries to
operate. The FT-1 had AAA and AA battery versions, which one is yours?

When the electronics work, life is good, once they go out repairs are
expensive (if there are parts for them) or impossible if parts can't be
found. I went the Autoreflex route because of this as Konica's electronics
are not as robust in these F's as other brands.

Well I only bought the FT-1 to try it out (out of two managed to get one working basically) and it uses four AAA batteries, but my only point was:- that even if you have no exposure/shutter reading data in the viewfinder i.e dead meter, the camera can still work.

If there's a way where you can manually set shutter speed and aperture
then yes, camera is still usable--up to, but not including when the electronic
shutter tips over, whereupon you can place this deep in the back of your storage cabinet.

GREAT collection!

Is there a special reason to buy Hexanons? Is it because they aren't made any more?

***Is there a special reason to buy Hexanons?***

Excellent quality at a cheap price... like FD lenses the digital guys haven't found an easy way to use them, so the price stays low for the common ones.

You can use the lenses only with the Konica film cams or with a m4/3 adapter at Pana G1/GH1/GF1 or Olympus pen.

I use Konica lenses with my Panasonic G1, and love them (especially the 40/1.8 and the 57/1.4).
