Just bought this:

Anyone has any experience with this lens?

Yes - it is big! The picture results are ok - as far as I can say, I am no experienced super tele user. Noticeable colour fringing wide open.

Considering the awful reviews of other Enna lenses here on Mflenses,
my expectations for this lens is extremly low. it can only get better Laughing
The pics you posted mflex-on doesent look to bad though.

Two more pictures. On is far distance, one near. You can see colour fringing in bokeh.

Yes. Firstly I should state that I bought mine for £41 back in 2004 and sold it last year for £49 so I think you may have paid a bit over the odds for yours.
As for sharpness, its best stopped down to f8 or f11, but even there the contrast is'nt exactly brilliant.
Its Bokeh is good though.
Here's a sample showing what it can do compared to a 35mm focal length lens from the same spot (location was Trafalgar Square in London):

And here the pic where the small crop in the top left corner is taken from:

And a 100% crop:

Thanks DSG
How would you rate the Enna 400 4.5 Compared to Telemegor 400 5.5
Vivitar 400 5.6, Sigma 400 apo 5.6 ?

Another Enna 400 on ebay:

I have'nt had any experience of the others mentioned but I'd hazzard a guess that the Sigma is probably the best of the bunch.

They are totally dreaming if they think its worth that much!
Funny they dont even mention the name of the lens itself untill the end of the auction text Confused

The Telemegor would not give you the sharpness of DSG's photo.

Really fine samples, I guess you can make good shoot with any glass. Photographer better than glass my 2 cents , like Luisalegria make perfect shoots with any cheap glass.

The Enna comes with an interchangable mount, it also fits medium format 6x6 pentacon six - no hassle with dark corners even wide open on 3.6x2.4.
