I suppose same than my Spiratone. If really need 1.8 and 135mm great buy if you don't no reason to take it. Heavy, bulky huge glass. No reason to bring a big lens and use at f5.6 and f8 when so many smaller lens available even better IQ.

US$125 is a good price for such a fast lens.
If it is in a good condition, you will probably be able to resell it with a profit in case you don't like it.

Attila and LucisPictor

Thanks to both, very much.

I think about the lens purchase 'cos u$s 125 not be much to have a moderate tele with F/1,8.

I don't need it. I use my CZJ 3,5, I like it. Only to play with.

Thanks again guys. Rino.

This lens commonly fetch 300 USD. So price is not bad at all.

That same lens can be found under quite a few different brand names. So chances are good that Attila's Spiratone is the same. I owned one for a while some 20 years ago. Back then they went for about $80. I was really surprised recently when I did a search on eBay and found this same generic lens going for so much. So, yes, I'd have to say that $125 is a very good price, and I'd recommend you pick it up for that. If you don't like it, you can always put it up at eBay and make some money on the deal. Or better, you can sell it to me for $125. Cool

I found that the 135mm f/1.8 that I owned had adequate sharpness wide open, and was a good performer stopped down. If you google "135mm f/1.8" (with the quotes) or go to flickr.com, you can find examples of photos taken with it.

I have the Y/S mount Sigmatel Multi Scalematic 135mm f1.8 which might be the same optically...Assuming it is, then it will make a big difference if you stop it down a bit...The Sigmatel is best between f4 and f5.6 and it makes an excellent short wildlife lens at these apertures.
Heres some samples and 100% crops taken at f4 and f5.6:

If the Soligor is'nt the same in optical makeup to my Sigmatel then it may not be quite as good stopped down but for that sort of money its worth a go as you should easily recoup your investment if you decide to sell it on.
