LZOS Jupiter-9 85/2 M42

Version known as 2nd SLR model / 1st M42 model / early black model

The lens is in good condition optically, but previous owner probably reassembled the aperture ring in a bad way, so it works only from f/2 till f/4.

OPTICS: No scratches, no fungus, almost no dust.
MECHANICS: focusing is smooth, but aperture works only from f/2 to f/4. Filter ring is fine.
COSMETICS: Common signs of use, no signs of abuse, no scratches or dents.

Pictures available upon request, or later.

Price: £59.5 / €64.5 / $94.5 + shipping

I accept PayPal (+3%) or MoneyBookers (+1%)

Sorry No-X Embarassed
Just to be sure, do you know this is a preset lens ?
The first front ring with the aperture figures can be turned to permit the diaph to open from f2 to the desired aperture.

Just checked mine, you can see the red dot is set to f8 so the aperture should be opening to at least f8

I know, how the lens works, I have 3 Jupiters-9. But thanks anyway Smile

The problem is in bad reassembling. The position of the aperture ring isn't exact and alows the present ring to move only in extent, which correponds to f/2-f/4.

My local repairman is a bit moody and hates repairs of bad assembled lenses and my second repairman lives quite far away and I'm not going to visit him in near future.

The lens can be used for parts or for taking pictures, but only at f/2-f/4.

I hardly ever use mine over f/4. So it still works great as a potraiture lens.

Time to explore other horizons. Cool
I should have moved here way before.

Plus, for a MF lenses fan, it will be easier to earn respect here than on HFR, (especially when you use Pentax gear...)
