If I remember correctly, one of our members, Flor27, has (had?) a version of that camera.

Standard Yashica mount but the ringflash is hardwired. Difficult to adapt to a DSLR.

Its supposed to be an excellent set up for macro photography, and they dont appear too often.

from what I've read, this is the Yashica ML 100mm macro lens, but with ringflash built-in and with a fixed mount, no lens change possible. They had a huge battery for the flash.

That SLR exists in several versions but here is the detailled test of the Dental III by our member Flor27 : http://manualfocus.mflenses.com/kyocera-100mm-f14-macro-for-c-y-t3761.html

There are 3 different versions of the Dental Eye, this one being the Mark I which is only having a 55mm lens ...
The versions II & III (the latter based on the Contax RX body) are using 100mm lenses.

On top of it there is a "Medical DX" set available, which is only incorporating the lens & flash & batt-pack with a standard C/Y mount (so this one could be tried to be easily mounted on a DSLR)

The light is quite harsh. I prefer my Creative Flash Cokin for macro lightning.

Yes I have.

Yashica upgraded the initial G to the GS model with gold-plated electrical contact points, hence the"gold mechanica" nickname.

Basically, all GS, GT last generation, GSN and GTN are "gold mechanica" cameras.

But thanks for the pointer Smile
