You guys have such a wealth of information picked up over years.I was wondering would a thread of Pictures and explanations of what it is be a handy thread for us new camera users to learn from and to keep for historical purposes??

Sort of like handing on the knowledge to the next generation

The appropriate place to store a lexical entry would be a Wiki. Carry it up to Wikipedia, where possible - if Wikipedia considers the topic too much special interest to warrant a page, create a Camerapedia page.
