Lately I've started too many threads, but I just wanted to brag as my recent lens purchases are now finalized. As I've told in another thread, I recently got CZJ 180/2.8 and CZJ 200/2.8 - today I was delivered CZJ 20/2.8 Flektogon.
Unbelievably the lens which cost under 150 euros is in absolutely flawless mint condition and even came with the carrying case and an UV-filter. The lens looks like it's never been used, not even once. By far my luckiest eBay acquisition ever!
Funnily, I don't mind I went broke buying this last lens |

Most people hunt MINT glasses for every day use, that is not too smart. Most glass what is MINT never been used in past, it has several reason. A well used copy is cheaper and 90% sure it is a good copy not lemon due lot of miles in. A MINT copy always risk why it's not show wearing. Anyway I hope yours an excellent copy. congrats! _________________ -------------------------------

Attila is right. It's probably rubbish, don't bother checking it...I'll give you 50 euros for it

This is very good advice - I had never thought of it that way (though I've always hunted for cheap lenses, lenses that have signs of heavy use). Thank you - I'll keep this in my mind when my lens-addiction strikes again |

Too bad I already managed to test the lens, so your offer is now even less tempting
For a while this evening I was a bit worried as one duck decided to see if it could bite through the front element or something. And of course this time I didn't have UV-filter on - normally I always protect myself, and the lens too. Well, evidently the DDR made lenses are duckproof
And this lens seems mint inside-out.
Now this thread is a duck thread too |
