Nikon AIS 105mm... nice!

Well Attila inspireed me to buy this lens, and what a lens it is. I am sure it needs no introduction here.
This is a 100% crop, with NO sharpening at all. And to my surprise, if you try and sharpen it, it makes the image look worse (try it!!). I am in new territory here (this was hand held)!!!
