contax 85:1.4 with doubler wide open
min was 1/320s and 800 iso wide open ( =2.8 from doubler )
you can compare with 85:1.4 without doubler in same condition at 2 & 2.8, but more cropped

A difficult subject! Results are very good given you were using a doubler. What were you shooting with?

it was with the 40D
more a experiment for fun, I thought I could use F2 but low light forced me to use the 85 wide open at 1.4
the 85 without doubler at F2.8 and cropped should give better results

Still extraordinarily good results under those conditions.
