I was looking for a Spotmatc and came across this spotty on the bay. It comes with a Fujinon 50mm 1.4 and takumar 135mm 3.5.... Very Happy

Needless to say, I won this lot... Very Happy

I can sell the Fujinon for 60.00 to 80.00 USD and make my money back plus some.

I would keep the lens but I own 2 copies as it is. I seen this set-up on ebay and figured I could basically get the entire outfit for free.

I'll post the EBC 50mm on ebay and will probally get about 60.00 to 65.oo USD for it.

I agree also; the EBC 50mm 1.4 is a SWEET lens indeed... Very Happy

Is EBC any special compare to other fast 50s... Like Super-tak or SMC or Oly...

I had the EBC 1,4/50 (and the non EBC too).

Very good lenses both. The EBC, obviously, more contrast.

I prefer the S-M-C tak 1,4/50. I didn't know it very well till I had it. I like the IQ.

But the fujinon lenses are pretty good too. As the 1,4/50 as the 1,8/55 (in EBC version better coating).

I actually prefer my EBC glass over my Taks (NO YELLOWING EVER!). Both are fine lenses, but I like the EBC's bokeh a bit better. It's so smooth and creamy, just the way I like it.

I also like the fact the the Fujica lenses tend to fly under the radar, this is fine by me being that I have a large collection of Fujica cameras and glass. Those of us who use the EBC glass know just how good it is... Very Happy

I like my EBC Macro better than my Nikon 3.5 micro.... Shocked

I rate the Taks and the EBC as pretty much the same (Never a yellowing problem such as the Tak 50mm 1.4). It all comes down to a matter of preference.

The 50mm EBC is just as sharp and fairly contrasty. Smile
