MF lenses on E-500

I have an Olympus E-500 and when I mount MF lenses I can't get the
focus confirmation light to light up when focusing. The camera manual
isn't much help on this point.

Anyone know if it's possible to enable the focus confirmation feature with
MF lenses on this camera, or E-series cameras in general?

Do you have AF confirmation adapter or just plane one? If you have chipped adapter that is works without any extra settings.
