Zorki 4 problem

Well I'm not sure what's going on, after realizing another camera has a fault I'm now having difficulties with the Zorki.

I've run one film through it with no problems but on trying to put another film in I can't get the cocking mechanism to work. When winding on the shutter setting knob the shutter speed dial isn't turning and hence cocking the shutter. I've tried adjusting the shutter disengaging ring but thats made no difference.

Any help on this this before I loose my excitement of my latest addition Crying or Very sad

On looking into this it would seem that part A isn't moving fully back into place when the disengaging ring is set and in turn this isn't allowing the small pin part B which lines up with pin to wind up the shutter to lower enough to engage with it.

That probably made no sense but if someone could have a look at how theirs work it may shed some light.

Big thanks

Okay this is one of those should of tried solve it before posting situations Embarassed

Seems that the disengaging ring had moved from its original position and wasn't allowing the internal pin to raise high enough for mechanism to connect. I'll have to get the screwdriver out and realign and tighten it myself.

Wish me luck.... gonna need lots of it Confused Confused Confused
