Blooms once per year. Took us 3 years to get the first blooming to occur. It blooms at nighttime and dies during the night. So you have to really watch it to get to see it at all. Wife accidently noticed at 20.00 that it was starting to bloom, at aprx 02.00 (am) it was in full bloom. At 5 it was closed and dead. Inspiring stuff.

More of a overview. The white flower was about 1.5dm in diameter and the petals around it about 2dm.
