All from AF lenses again, though several from the day were manually focused.
I know there's some interest in this sort of subject with other members
here, which is why I am posting. This is also associated with my review
of the column/head tripod replacement in the Equipment Reviews section.
Saturday was spent exploring the site.
Entry was made into a building I'd never been in, and allowed us to verify
that tunnels from there were unobstructed. We now have virtually
free access to the entire campus, while under perfect and complete cover.
The day's exploring covered 4 buildings of a cluster, all of them single-
story, and all of them more empty than others I'd explored before.
I had three objectives for the day -
1) Confirm or deny rumors of logging on the grounds: Confirmed
2) Enter & explore buildings I haven't seen before: Success!
3) Verify tunnel navigability from & to other buildings: Success!
Here are some pictures of the day's exploits:
1. I rarely do B&W conversions.
2.
3.
4.
5.
6.
7.

Very interesting Craig. When I look at pictures like this I always think what a waste it is to not put the buildings to another use instead of letting them decay. _________________ Ron

Interesting you chose these, because peeling paint and long hallways always invoke the greatest reaction from members of urban exploration forums & websites.
Besides, I like them, too.
I'll post more from the day's exploration if anyone is interested, but only if someone requests more. _________________ Craig

Really scary place.
I have a similar place a bit from me as well, but that place is pretty trashed and and it's hard to access it now days. Never been inside it.
Pic 6 really has a scary mood, I like it. |
