Abstract and Edited sunflower. Super Takumar 55/1.8

In my efforts to find a place in landscape/nature photography. I played with a sunflower today.



I realise this might not at all suit the visitors here. But would be fun with criticism anyhoo.

I find this rather interesting. With the vintage 1960s look to the color processing, it seems to enhance the fact that the flower has been chewed on and looks a bit decrepit in and of itself. A dying beauty, if you will.

I like it,
A bit towards a painting or graphic art.
The jagged petals makes it more interesting than a perfect specimen.
