i used to have the AF version of that lens.
it's made by Cosina. decent, there is a review on photozone.de
it's not quite as good as the Pentax D-FA 100/2.8 Macro (which i replaced it with) but it's 1/10th the price.
i dont think anybody made a bad 100mm macro and this one's an f3.5 so not a very ambitious design.
the OOF highlights are on the busy side, and moving from f3.5 to f4 has no effect (the iris is not accurate enough). so f4 - f4.5 has slight overexposure. best to go to f5.6 straight if you want to stop down...
its 1:2 macro so handy for big bugs. |

From the reviews I've seen, people say optically it's decent, build wise, it sucks...But as has been mentioned, it's inexpensive enough for a 1:2 macro (goes to 1:1 with a screw on diopter...) _________________ Cameras-Nikon D300, D7100,D610,FE2,FTN ,FT2,N90s, Olympus Pen EP-3 & Olympus OM-D E-M10
