has anyone used this lens?

If so, could you please point me towards some photos taken with lens.

If anyone has any opinions on this lens please post them.

i used to have the AF version of that lens.

it's made by Cosina. decent, there is a review on photozone.de

it's not quite as good as the Pentax D-FA 100/2.8 Macro (which i replaced it with) but it's 1/10th the price.

i dont think anybody made a bad 100mm macro and this one's an f3.5 so not a very ambitious design.

the OOF highlights are on the busy side, and moving from f3.5 to f4 has no effect (the iris is not accurate enough). so f4 - f4.5 has slight overexposure. best to go to f5.6 straight if you want to stop down...

its 1:2 macro so handy for big bugs.

From the reviews I've seen, people say optically it's decent, build wise, it sucks...But as has been mentioned, it's inexpensive enough for a 1:2 macro (goes to 1:1 with a screw on diopter...)
