Got the lens last Friday & here are 2 shots using it with a non-infinity focus adapter on my Nikon D70s....

Looks like a keeper Scott. I agree about the purple (and reds and yellows - grrr)

Great lens and camera, an pic too of course.

The dog is a very photogenic one, and with the face with make up! Very Happy

***Your D70 did well with the purple. That is usually a hard color for digicams.***

Mind you in my judgement the VIV 75-150 was sharper although with 100asa film:-

Yes, well.... The purple didn't annoy me but the gigantic pictures did. Could you kindly remember that images larger than 900px wide need to be posted in the Oversize Gallery. I've resized them and left them here this time. Thanks.
