On a Zeiss Ikon Nettar 518/2, IMO surprising good color rendition and sharpness for a triplet lens. I think not much worse than the beloved Schneider Radionar of Veijo Vilva. But I did never took it out of the camera for a trial on a DSLR.

Hi, my name is Nesster and I like to pass myself as a vintage lens dude. In fact I own a few. However, I am a fraud and a charlatan: for I must admit I have no Zeiss lenses whatsoever, neither a Novar nor a Tessar. Therefore, I can make no claim to vintage lens dudeness.

I mean, I do have a Tessar but it is autofocusing and auto exposing, in a Yash T4.

No reason at all, save these 4 words: "ebay accident, cheap bastard" Wink
