Hi all, I am new around here.
I have been watching for a few weeks this forum this is my first post Smile

I got hold of an Hoya 28mm f2.8 (Nikon F mount) with apperture blades stuck, they have oil.

Does any one have one of these? Any luck opening it?

I am going to try opening it, but I have not seen any plans of it. Embarassed

Cheers

Shocked Glued screws?
That's a new one to me Smile

I still haven't tried opening it, but seems like that it's going to put up a fight.

@estudleon

I've seen that chart, it helped me while I was deciding to buy it.
I tried it one or two times, wide open only, the blades are stuck, and the quality seems fine.

I was not aware of the defect, got a refund though.

I'll let you know how it turns out, got to get a decent screwdriver set. Smile

Thanks
