I would like to know if any one has this lens and how it is. Is it good? Is it branded or made by Osawa?

ccroy,

Your photos look very nice. Sharp and colorful. A computer monitor is not the greatest test of a lens' qualities as they differ so much.

At least one gentleman, whom I consider well informed, asserts that Osawa made it's own lenses. Most think that they branded lenses from other suppliers. Difficult to know now as Osawa folded in 1984-85.

Haven't heard about this lens personally, but I'm quite sure that there will be members here who will have Wink

Seems capable of producing nice images!

Osawa did NOT manufacture lenses

Made by Ozone for Osawa

One member did posts some images taken with this lens around Jan time, but cannot remember who it was. The conclusion was that it was an average lens but good for the price.

I've a 400mm that's about to end on ebay, which is again, not bad but very cheap.

Thanks PBFacts for the information

Here is a shot of flowers with the lens. The lens is sharp for these close up shots
