i just bought tokina 28mm for macro shooting (reversing) , when i turn on aparture ring nothing happens inside objective, Diaphragm dont change size?

i dont know is this little thing anything to do with it ? ;D

Hi Darksoul!

What camera fitting is the lens, please? On some, then aperture won't change until the actuating lever is moved.

well im planning to use it with reversing ring with olympus e-520

There have been special rear adaptors to step down the lens by pushing that lever if the lens is being used reversed.
Rare pieces though. I guess german maker Novoflex made some years ago.

P.S.: sometimes a piece of duct tape or a toothpick or a piece of cork work nicely too... Wink

its for Konica mount
