Roman script Serial # 782005

Very clean condition, clean glass (small amount of dust), very smooth focusing, smooth aperture rings, lightly oiled blades.

The hood wobbles and there is no front cap, only a rear (no logo). There is the usual case. However the internal lid which holds the filters has been cut away. So no filters.

Thanks no-X. I bought this lens when I didn't really want it but it seemed to be going for a very low price. The seller seemed anxious to get rid of it because he thought it contained a large amount of dust. I gambled and guessed right - most of it was siiting on the outside of the rear element. So a quick blow and use of a camel hair paintbrush and it was clean. There is some internal dust but not much.
