I bought a new Contax 645 kit with Planar T* 80mm f/2 but the front cap is missing. (the seller explained me that before).
I'd like to know if someone has one to sell or could tell me where I can buy one.
I looked on ebay but I didn't found any... |

I used the first film on it this week.
I searched for his diameter and I didn't find it. Maybe I'm sleeping yet. |

Already found that it has 72mm diameter and the original cap on ebay is about 40€... Too expensive.
I'll look for a copy. |

I think so, yes
I googled for "contax planar 80 filter diameter" and the first link says that all the contax lenses for the 645 except for the 35/3.5 share the same filter diameter of 72mm _________________ Orio, Administrator

Here is a cheap, but efficient cap on the auction site. The external pinch cap is always handy. This one has free shipping!

I saw many from UE.
I sent a message to one seller that has the original one. I think 40€ is too much for one cap. Hope he can sell it with a lowe price.
I really like the original caps, to be honest. |

original caps are good for resale value. Some people are really fetish and willing to pay more if there are the original caps
So perhaps it can be a good investment for you.
I did the same with the Contax G2, I bought a couple of original caps (one to replace a broken one) just in case I need to resell my set. _________________ Orio, Administrator

Yes, that's what I'm thinking.
If I want to sell the kit it would be better to get the original cap.
This kit is new, so it would be important. |
