Looks like a Mamiya product (as the name on the lens implies!) They were sold in the UK in the 60s either by the Dixons or Bennett chains, the Dixons trade name being "Saturn". They had the reputation of being less than reliable in the retail trade, but that might have anti-chain store propoaganda! And to be honest, a lot of low to medium priced cameras were indeed lacking in durability, including some of the best known makes.

I've been poking around this one. No film in it yet but everything seems to work. The selenium meter responds nicely, the needle trap mechanism works. Inside, everything seems metal and robust. The RF is a bit out of vertical alignment but I may have knocked that out when I was in there cleaning. The Kodak Motormatic of similar vintage I picked up several weeks ago is much more fiddly and the meter is dead. This unit as earned some respect for old Mamiyas.

Interesting !

You are lucky to find an old Selenium meter in working condition.

Funny, I said the same thing myself earlier last week. Picked up the same camera for $2.99 at the local Goodwill...

Nice find! I'm beginning to favour rangefinders for many applications.
