Hello,

Until now, I know nothing about Olympus OM lenses on Canon EOS bodies? For M42 lenses, I know the pitfalls about A/M switches and flanged adapters.
But are there things to be aware of when searching for Olympus OM lenses? Is there the same issue with A/M switch or aperture pin?

Thanks in advance!

Johan

no problems with oly adapter on eos
you have 2 buttons switch
button 1 is for unmounting the lens, this allow to change between oly lens without removing the adapter from the dslr
if you remove a screw you can use button 2 for stopping down, you focus wide open then keep button 2 pressed for close apperture down and shot
I prefer to let the screw so button 2 do nothing but some like it

The only issue is that OM lenses are so small, they look like a toy. Nobody will take you seriously when you put them on a big Canon camera! Smile

Small is a good thing, and the OM's are famous for their wide lenses as well. I have the 21/3.5 and 24/2.8, they are incredibly sharp.
