So, thanks to a very generous member here, I now have a Photosniper. After adaptation (Fully reversible!) to release from an EOS, I went out for a play.

I don't think the results are too bad for a lens I've never used, enough rust on my panning technique to fail an MOT, and a truly horrible, overcast day. C&C welcome.

All pictures shot at f4.5 or f5.6*, ISO 1600 (Hence the grain).

*Typo fixed!

Your first shot is incredible! The others are pretty darn good, too.

Excellent composition on #2. The Tair 300 shines again. Well done and thanks or sharing.

Thought all Photosnipers are 300mm f/4.5

Thanks for the comments! I was most happy with the first shot, considering how long it's been since I tried fast panning with an MF Lens.

When I have the electronic conversion perfected (It's a little "hair trigger" at the moment), I'll give full details on how to DIY it. I firmly believe that knowledge should be shared, so I'll happily give the details out. However, if someone wants me to convert their Photosniper, then we can probably work something out.

You are right about the aperture, It would correctly say "f4.5 or f5.6"
