Hi,

first shot with EF 4/300 L to compare

next 2 shots with Leitz Telyt-R 4/250 produced 1976

Unfortunately a lot of details got lost due to the low 900px file size.

Rolf

Rolf, next time upload bigger picture than 900px like 1600 or 2000px wide.

while ago I did change image uploading from uploaded picture it make two size. One is restricted to 900 px wide and keep genuine one. If reader click on 900px wide picture genuine one is coming and it will be restricted to screen resolution. With larger display people able to enjoy 1600 or even larger images.

Or you could post a crop, if you want to just compare resolution. This is not a perfect test as the subject is moving, and point of focus will not be precisely the same, but it could be interesting.

I have some old lenses that would completely fail the crop test even on this type of subject.
